Hey Row
I met you and you lovely girlfriend, Jess at the first workshop 5 weeks ago and just missed you at the last WEFF. I am going to try my hardest to be at the next one which is on Sunday 7th, long weekend, I do my homework. I'll have a new pair of double sticks and a bunch of new tricks, ready to go nuts. I wanted to go to one last year, but people are stange when your a stranger and it's hard to make friends in the dark. Anyway should be really good, looking foward to it.
Rose

Hi there
my name is Levi, I just moved to brisbane, I'm a self taught, fourth year, life long dedicated student and practitioner of what I call elemental art. I'm not the same as a fire twirler as I'm more about technique as opposed to how much fire is on your staff, 1 wick 10 wicks a million wicks, doesn't matter if you don't know how to use it properly! also I'm notorious for saying if you can't make it don't fake it, this is for people that can't fire spit so they resort to plastic squirter bottles, NOT COOL people! any way with that out of the way I'd also like to point out that I'm a science FreaK! I study this art to a very refined science, so if you know a lot about the theory behind the techniques you do then you already have my undivided attention and I would like to chat also if you are experienced in contact especially single staff but contact in general then I would like to chat at some point to bounce some theories off you and get someone elses oppinion for a change, I don't care how experienced you are really or how advanced as long as you keep an open mind and don't discourage people from this art/science we'll get along just fine. I'm the crazy guy doin the wierd flip kick into my first students fire spit blast I advise anyone that does capoiera or anything like it and fire twirls to try combining it with fire spitting as long as you have safety equipment any way have fun people

My name is Robert, and I've been playing with whips for about 18 months (unless you count the one I made out of a donald duck fishing pole and some rope when I was 9 )
I've also been that stupid fire kid for a long time, and have thus far avoided any serious injury. I recently (2.5 years ago) started learning fire tricks, and doing flashy moves with a zippo and lighter fluid (both on my body and on objects).
Anyways, I'm looking heavily into purchasing a fire whip (or whips) or some fire snakes to begin learning spinning and show moves.
looking forward to learning from all of you!

LA area over summer, south bay during the school year (and possibly indefinitely after this summer)
Anyways, I'm going to pick up a pair of Bearclaw's "perfect torches" so I can do some body tracing and fire breathing (9 years of trumpet has prepped me well) on the 4th. Also, I'm hoping he'll let me try one of his whips, and if it handles decently well I'll buy one, if not I'll save up for one of Riz's.
I'll also be at burn club this wednesday if anyone else is!

hello everyone, as my name implies I am somewhat of a noob. I learned the basics of fire eating a while back, but didn't do much with it. Lately, the passion has come to me for it.
my skills are somewhat limited, but I'm improving.
so far I can: Eat fire, perform a small "blow", extinguish with my palm, and I'm working on trailing and the teeth grab.
When I "blow" my flames are always somewhat small and I usually notice more liquid fuel than I would like coming down to earth. does anybody have any advice on how to improve this?
I'm also wondering what to work on next. "the blow" is just kind of a side project. My real passion is eating fire, so my trailing and teeth grabbing are top priority, after that maybe some kind of basic vapor trick?
any advice from a fellow eaer would be great.
