Hi Guys,
My name is Neo and i am a fireaholic
I met some of you at the last full moon event, although i was only there for about 15minutes, i hope to attend more events.
My specialty is twin sticks, i am mostly self taught but i did start out with a book from gooble warming, I really like juggling with horizontal spinning throws and behind the back spinning throws all with two sticks, still so much more to learn lol
I have been in Yeppoon for the last four months, i have been running weekly social/pracitce nights on the main beach there, not that i know alot but most of the peeps that come down dont know anything and are just happy to learn a few basics and then light up and twirl and socialize,
I also do a bit of Jembay (cant spell lol) but my drumming normally gets neglected due to twirling, buts its really good to get an audience involved in drumming if fire is not thier thing, also a little bit of poi, fire breathing and single staff (but two is more fun)
I really want to learn the rope dart, i will make a dodgy home made one soon with a monkies fist wick and get a book
Where we were doing the weekly practice on the beach was right opposite the pub, and when it closed every time we would get a croud of drunken antagonists come down, they were obviously very angry at having thier alchohol cut off and not having picked up, The power of entertainment is amazing! as normally i would face antagonists head on and there would be trouble, but since i have been learning how to entertain life has been much easier, I would go up to the biggest ugliest angriest drunk guy and stick a lit fire stick in his hand and teach him some basics, then encourage the croud to cheer him on, then clap him on the back and congratulate him, then give his mate a go too, this worked every time and a good night was had by all
Anyway i hope to meet you all and take part in more events now that i am back in brisbane, i am up for fire twirling anytime anywhere, and if anyone is keen to get together weekly for practice and socializing that would be koo too
Love and Light (preferably fire light lol)
Neo

Hey guys, I'm Sean, and I've only been twirling for about 6 months or so...I've been to 4 of the WEFFs in that time, and no other burn-offs.
[i'm the seemingly antisocial one that seems to be hanging around the corner while you guys have fun ;)]
I a single staff and a little fire baton, but i'm nothing special using either of them. I have fun though, and that's all that matters to me
I'd love to get into rope dart, it seems like something i'd enjoy doing- I have experience in tae kwon-do, and it looks like that would be handy from what I've seen you guys doing with them!
Anyway, see you guys in the New Year! [i'm not coming on new year's eve :S ]
